Athletics & Extracurriculars
At HHAI, we provide students with a wide variety of athletics and extracurricular activities designed to support their growth, foster their passions, and inspire lifelong skills. Our offerings are tailored to suit different age groups and adapt to seasonal availability, ensuring there’s always something engaging for every student.
Athletics Program
Our athletics program emphasizes both personal growth and team spirit. Students can participate in sports like volleyball, soccer, basketball, and pickleball, with opportunities for inter-school competitions that promote teamwork, camaraderie, and leadership skills.

Extracurricular Enrichment
Beyond athletics, HHAI offers an exciting array of extracurricular activities that nurture creativity, discipline, and curiosity.
- Early Childhood students can participate in activities like pottery, providing a space to manipulate clay and strengthen gross motor function.
- Elementary and middle school students can partake in activities like chess and origami to heighten their learning experience.
Homework Club
HHAI offers a complimentary Homework Club for middle school students four days a week. Staffed by classroom teachers and our academic support coordinator, it is designed to support students in building strong study habits and academic skills. The club provides:
- A quiet, focused environment for completing assignments.
- Opportunities for remediation and guided practice when needed.
- Access to the computer lab and student devices for homework and enrichment activities (devices are securely stored at school overnight).
Class Trips
HHAI middle school students enjoy enriching overnight trips that promote personal growth and teamwork. In the fall, they visit Flat Rock River Camp for outdoor activities like hiking and team challenges, building leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills. Additionally, overnight trips across the United States offer opportunities to explore historical and cultural sites, fostering independence and broadening perspectives. These experiences help students develop confidence, responsibility, and valuable life skills while creating lasting memories.
