Mazel Tov to our Eighth grade graduates and their families! A magical evening showcased our uniquely diverse multifaceted eighth graders who each spoke eloquently and passionately about the role of family and the HHAI extended family in inspiring their Jewish identity, Students played the complex melody of Leonard Cohen's Hallelujah on the chimes to beautiful flute accompaniment by Mrs. Sloan’s daughter Audra. The outdoor masked format allowed for the remote learners, lovingly dubbed the ‘zoomies’ to join their in person ‘roomies’ classmates for this capstone graduation program. Tehilla's individually boxed mini cakes along with chilled sparkling grape juice bottles for each family added a safe yet festive touch to the celebration. Mrs Gettinger aptly depicted this class as HaShem's gift to the school amidst this Covid challenging year, a microcosm of synergy as exemplary students and genuine character role models of whom we are richly proud. We look forward to following your future academic endeavors as true ambassadors of HHAI.
