The Hasten Hebrew Academy HAI-Life Awards Dinner was held on May 31 at the Arthur M. Glick JCC. Honored this year with the HAI-Life Distinguished Service Award were Drs. Rick Bentley and Caryn Vogel. Receiving the Distinguished Teacher Award was Ann Sloan, Hasten Hebrew Academy music teacher and Cultural Arts Center Coordinator. The Academy also said good-bye to the Saadia family, who will be returning to Israel after teaching here for five memorable years. A wonderful turn-out enhanced the gala event which featured a Tribute Journal recognizing our honorees.
