On Friday, April 20, Mr. Hart Hasten, one of the founders of the Hasten Hebrew Academy of Indianapolis, visited our school and shared his experience during the Holocaust years with seventh graders, who are currently working on their Holocaust project. Mr. Hasten's stories about his escape from the Nazis, struggles in Kazakhstan and return to his homeland were very powerful and inspirational.
