The Hasten Hebrew Academy Gets an A |
The Department of Education for the State of Indiana has released its Annual Yearly Progress ratings and Public Law 221 results. In essence, they have graded Indiana schools (based on ISTEP scores and improvement from previous years) and the Hasten Hebrew Academy received an "A," the highest grade possible. We achieved 9 out of 9criteria in the Annual Yearly Progress measurement. We are an "Exemplary Progress" school. We achieved this rating because we had a 97.3 passing rate on the ISTEPS and we met the improvement standards required. Not included in this figure, but outstanding, nonetheless, was our score on the Science portion of the ISTEP. 78% of the students who took the science exam at our school received a PASS PLUS(over 95%)!! Only 3 schools in the entire state scored that high. We can be so proud of our wonderful students and outstanding staff |

Challenger Learning Center Trip |
On Wednesday, 1/12/11, 6th graders spent their afternoons navigating outer space at the Challenger Learning Center in Brownsburg, IN! They completed the simulation with "flying" colors. With half the "crew" in mission control, and half in the spacecraft, students managed to command and fly a spacecraft to the moon to establish a location for a permanent extra-terrestrial research station. Despite a few crises, students not only learned about what it takes to go into the great beyond, they also learned to follow directions and make tough decisions independently. Best of all, by the end of the day, students gained a new appreciation for each other's unique contribution to a team effort. |

Hasten Hebrew Academy to Raise Money for Od Yosef Chai |
Purim is February 28. there will be lots of
festivities to celebrate. One of the most
important aspects of Purim is Matanot
L'evyonim, " (gifts for the poor). A
requirement of Purim is to give monetary
gifts to at least two poor people. Many of
us are not personally acquainted with
people in dire need to whom we can give these gifts on
Purim day. However, we have the opportunity to fulfill
this mitzvah by supporting an important cause. We will
once again be collecting money for Od Yosef Chai, an
organization committed to helping the poor in Israel in a
manner that does not compromise the recipient's dignity
and self respect. We will begin collecting money on
Monday, February 15 and continue through the 26th. |

Thanksgiving For All |
My mother bought a pie crust yesterday, which reminded me that Thanksgiving is two months away. Although it may seem to be in the far future, some families are already trying to start saving for this lavish meal. As the recession continues and more and more adults lose their jobs, prices of everyday items rise, leaving no money to spare. Since the demand for the food and necessities have gone up, the HHAI Student Council acknowledges these facts, and will begin collecting non-perishable and canned goods for Gleaners food bank. From Oct. 1st until Nov.18th until Thanksgiving, a box will be in the Hasten Hebrew Academy’s front office to collect donations. Please, don’t let children miss out on the pumpkin pie and turkey drenched in gravy. Bring some non-perishable or canned goods to the front office today!

HHAI Spelling Bee Time Again |
It is that time of the year for all our
great spellers to compete against
one another. The “Spelling Bee”
practice will be handled a little
differently this year. In the beginning,
students will compete against
those in their grade level. The top
spellers from each grade level will
then practice over and over for the spelling bee competition to
be held at HHAI sometime in the late winter or early spring.
Please come to an informational meeting and pick up your
lists and help me select your dates for practice. The meeting
will be held on Tuesday, October 13th from 3:45 – 4:15 p.m.
If you are a middle school student, and after school is a problem
because of sports, you may meet with me for lunch on
Tuesday, October 13th in my classroom at your regular lunchtime.
If any student wants to get started earlier on the spelling
words, stop by Mrs. Stanfield’s room (116) and pick up your
“words.” This will be fun! I look forward to spending time
with each and every student willing to spend extra time becoming
the best speller he or she can be!

What are Hasten Hebrew Academy Parents Saying About Our School? |
We have asked some of our parents to tell us what they think of the Hasten Hebrew Academy. This week we are featuring comments by Kindergarten parents.
Kathy and Steve Frankel, parents of Josh:
"We are impressed with the innovative teaching methods and energy Mrs. Neal and Mrs. Rotstein bring to the classroom on a daily basis. We have seen our son grow and develop by leaps and bounds. He comes home singing cute songs that teach phonics with hand movements, such as, "E the double ee that always says 'knee'." As a former Kindergarten teacher, I see the professionalism and high standards the HHAI Kindergarten provides for students and parents."
Rob and Daniella Katz, Parents of Natanya:
We asked Natanya "What do you like about kindergarden?" With a big smile in her face she answered:
"I like listening to my teacher tell the Parsha [the weekly Bible story] in English.
I like playing high-five tag in gym.
I like the quiet in the library.
I like playing different instruments in music class.
I like the computers and toy kitchen in the classroom.
That puts a big smile on our faces!!!
Natanya is a happy child and almost every day she comes home with a new song she's learned and is eager to sing to us. We have fun doing her homework together, like making funny sentences out of the new words she's learning.
What we like the most is hearing Natanya complain about not going to school on the days she's home.
Shawnna West, mother of Tristen:
My son has attended HHAI for the past two years and has enjoyed it fully. He attended the pre-school program last year and is currently in the Kindergarten class. I really like the student teacher ratio, and the high quality education he is receiving. He has made so many new friends and the teachers and staff treat us like family. Everyone has been so helpful, caring and has gone above and beyond my expectations.
My son enjoys both the secular and Judaic studies. I feel both teachers are highly involved and dedicated. They go out of their way to do special fun things to keep school fun.
The extended day program has been wonderful also, especially since I am a single parent. The program continues to build on what he is working on in the classroom and allows him to attend extracurricular activities he normally wouldn't get to do.
I really appreciate the entire staff at HHAI and my son is so lucky to have the opportunity to attend such a wonderful and dedicated school.
Jean and Michel Benabou, parents of Gabriel:
This is Gabriel's first year at Hasten. Moving from California to Indiana was a difficult change, but Mrs. Neal and Mrs. Rotstein have helped to make the transition smooth. Being at Hasten has allowed Gabriel to grow so much, socially as well as academically.
Everyday, after school, he loves to relay what fun he has experienced. It seems his hours are full of excitement and new horizons: Hebrew, T'fillah, reading, writing,P.E., field trips, music, art, library.....and so much more!
We are so excited, and so happy to have found such a warm and enriching environment where our child can feel safe and secure to express himself and to learn new things.

Seventh Grader Places First in History Competition |
Congratulations to Nate Meyers for winning the Indiana National History Day in the division of website presentation and design. Nate has been participating in this event for the past three years, and each year he has represented Hasten Hebrew Academy in an exemplary fashion. Nate’s knowledge and love of history puts him in a category of an excellent role model. Nate researched and created, with a little guidance from Mr. Voskoboynik, his project outside classroom time, even when he had a science fair project assignment also. Nate will now represent us at the state level in May, and then on to Washington D.C.
This year Nate participated in the Junior individual website division. This year’s theme focused on an individual in history who forever changed the world. Nate’s website was titled Maximilien Robespierre: Dictator and Revolutionist. Nate explains:
“Robespierre emerged from a time of turmoil. He spoke of ideals of equality, justice, and fraternity for all. He brought the ideals that a people could govern themselves and not through an oligarchy. Amidst this greatness, he became an evil dictator, sending 17,000 to their deaths by the guillotine. His legacy inspired revolutions across the world, from China to Latin America. I was inspired to create a project about Robespierre, because I thought he changed the world. I learned the basics of how to create a website in our computer class. I also got my first DVD about Robespierre as a Bar Mitzvah gift.” |

Artist of the Week |
By Mrs. MaryEllen Fellegy
Congratulations to sixth grader Audrey Fretzin! Before the wide use of oil paint started in the late fifteenth century, many pictures were painted on wood panels with egg tempera. The color in these early Renaissance paintings was rich and vibrant because the egg yolk medium itself created beautiful, luminous color effects. In an elective class called “Luminous Brush”, middle school students learned how challenging it was to handle and separate an egg yolk without breaking it! The yolk was then mixed together with powdered tempera paint and distilled water. Paints had to be mixed fresh for each class to prevent spoilage so students became experts! A variety of underdrawing, underpainting and layering techniques were then used to create these luminous paintings. Please come see Audrey’s painting of a chameleon next to the Boutique! |

Second Honor Roll Breakfast Honors 2/3 of Middle School |
We are pleased to announce that 2/3 of our Middle School qualified for the honor roll breakfast. There were four categories in which a student could achieve in order to be invited to the breakfast: Perfect Attendance, Academic Achievement(above a 3.5 grade point average), Excellent Work Habits, Exemplary Conduct (to receive an award for work habits or conduct the student had to be nominated by each one of his/her teachers). Two students received honors for Academic Achievement, Excellent Work Habits and Exemplary Conduct. They were Anat Berday-Sacks, grade 6 and Sigal Tavel, grade 7. Anat also had perfect attendance. Sigal and Anat were speakers for the event. Excerpts of their speeches can be found below.
Sigal said: “After seeing my good grades, I was elated with the results of my hard work. I was euphoric with the fantasies of the 12-year-old super genius. If only it was that easy. The truth is, it took more than daydreaming about super geniuses to get me good grades. I worked harder than I would have liked at the time and would have chosen to simply open a book and start to read...but that wasn’t going to get me a better grade in Social Studies. So I buckled down and started focusing.
Anat’s talk connected this week’s Parsha, Vayakhel, to the ability to achieve. She said “this week’s parasha is Vayakhel. In it Moses asks the Chidren of Israel to donate different items to build the Mishkan [Tabernacle]. The items ranged from precious metals to animal skins to stakes to hold up the tent. Although each item had its own value, everything was crucial and was worthless without the others. We can use this a a metaphor for a successful person. Someone who wants to achieve her goals must get help from different places. She needs her family’s support, a teacher’s guidance and knowledge, and, of course, friendship. ...We can also see that every little part counts. Every donation was used down to that one little wooden peg. So even the smallest mitzvah may change a life. There are stories galore in which one smile or kind remark changes the course of a stranger’s life, etc.”
Congratulations to all our high achievers! We are so proud of what you have accomplished and know you will continue to excel. |

What a marvelous job the first graders did at the Siddur party. Each and every one of them performed to the utmost of their ability. Not only did they have to act, but they were stage managers as well. The students learned how to stand proudly on stage, to speak loudly and clearly, and say their parts with confidence. In short, they were coached on becoming professional actors almost like on Broadway! It's hard to believe that they are only six or seven years old. "Kol-HaKavod"!!! The siddur party is the highlight in first grade Judaic Studies. It's a very special moment when the students receive their first real siddurs. The siddur party entailed a lot of preparation. First and foremost, students learned to read Hebrew and began to understand the t'filot (prayers). They also learned to find the different blessings and prayers found in the siddur. Once they became more familiar with the morning prayers, they began memorizing their lines for the performance, which included themes from the daily prayers as well as songs from our Tal Am Hebrew Language program, an integral part of the first grade Judaic curriculum. And most importantly, the students learned that the Siddur ac- companies us all the time; consisting of prayers and blessings for each occasion in our daily lives... Our Siddur party was a huge success. The children looked so nice and festive, especially the boys with their Kippot that came all the way from Eretz Israel and the girls with their special headbands. The children and their families received a one-of-a-kind painted challah board and beautifully decorated candle sticks for Shabbat. The first graders are excited to use their Siddurs each morning. Thank you H.H.A.I family for coming and sharing our "Simcha" with us. HaMorah Oranit and the students in Kita Alef. |

What Are Hasten Hebrew Academy Parents Saying About Our School |

We have asked some of our parents to tell us what they think of the Hasten Hebrew Academy. Here is an article written by Judith and Allon Friedman. In the coming weeks we will feature other articles. If you have something you would like to say about our school please send it to me via e-mail at mekhaus@hhai.org.
Why the Hasten Hebrew Academy of Indianapolis?
By Dr. Allon Friedman and Mrs. Judith Friedman
Commitment to a Strong Jewish Identity: We are committed to raising our three children to have strong and healthy Jewish identities, and understand that a formal Jewish education is a recipe for success. Our children are immersed in Jewish historical, religious, ethical, and cultural traditions on a daily basis, and they clearly relish the experience. Their studies are also infused with a love for Israel and the Zionist idea. While some people express the misguided concern that a Jewish day school experience might place their children at a disadvantage as they enter the wider world, this fear is unfounded. A Jewish education offers our sons a dependable rudder with which to navigate the often choppy seas of life, and a time-tested guide to help them understand the world and their place in it.
A Well-Rounded, Rigorous Education: Having been trained as a lawyer and physician, we expect nothing less for our children than an intellectually rigorous and challenging educational experience. Fortunately, the Hasten Hebrew Academy has met our expectations in both its secular and Jewish curricula. Our sons' teachers have been wonderful and completely invested in developing their intellectual, social, and emotional skills. Furthermore, the learning environment is nurturing and the school community is warm, supportive and tolerant. We walk into the Academy and honestly feel like we're walking into an extension of our home. Our children feel the same way. That sense of comfort, security and genuine caring is a very special feeling. As parents we couldn't ask for anything more.
The Best Education in Indianapolis…Period: We don't understand why Jewish families would consider sending their children anywhere else. The Hasten Hebrew Academy offers a superior secular and Jewish education from preschool to 8th grade in a loving and nurturing environment. Plus, the need for after-school Hebrew classes becomes unnecessary, thus freeing up valuable time on afternoons and weekends. We look forward to the day when even more Indianapolis Jewish families discover this unique and wonderful community institution for themselves.

Why do we send our children to HHAI? By Debra and Pierre Atlas |
Many of our Jewish
friends have asked us:
“Why do you send your
kids to the Hasten Hebrew
Academy of Indianapolis?”
We have
heard a variety of reasons
for their curiosity
ranging from: (1) “Why
pay tuition when you can
send your kids to those
amazing Carmel public schools where they will meet many
other Jewish kids?” (2) “Aren’t you worried that your kids
won’t be competitive in High School since that school focuses
more on Judaic than secular studies?” (3) “How well could
your kids possibly fit in at the Academy since you guys aren’t
members of Bnai Torah?” and, (4) “Aren’t you afraid that your
kids will come home and demand greater observance of Jewish
law?”
Pierre and I have heard derivations of all these questions many
times and we patiently set the record straight with our answers:
(1) Yes, we have had to make trade-offs in our life because we
pay tuition, but those sacrifices have been well worth it to us
because we are making a significant investment in the Jewish
life of our children. [If anyone else is familiar with an investment
opportunity that does not cost money, we’d love to know
about it!] While Carmel schools are indeed excellent, we find
that the Academy provides a similarly outstanding secular education,
with an amazingly small student-to-teacher ratio and
lots of individual instruction that is not available in a public
school. Yes, there are many Jewish kids at Towne Meadow or
Creekside, but so what? Just sitting next to Jewish kids in
school won’t help define a Jewish identity for our kids. HHAI
also provides the important advantage of letting our children
avoid afternoon Hebrew school. As a consequence, our kids
have been able to participate in a variety of after-school activities,
including Tae Kwon Do, soccer, swimming, dance, tennis,
volleyball, computers, etc. By contrast, I (Debbie) had to
attend an afternoon Hebrew school three days each week from
4 to 6 pm and thus I was not able to participate in any afterschool
activities, which I resented terribly. A Jewish day
school offers the best of both worlds, and has enabled our kids
to acquire more than a rudimentary knowledge of Hebrew language
plus Jewish history and culture, which was evident
when we took a family trip to Israel in 2007.
(2) It is a little known fact that the school day at HHAI actually
has more periods devoted to secular subjects than reserved
for Judaic studies. Our kids’ test scores and grades routinely
demonstrate that they are receiving a top tier secular education,
which positions them exceptionally well to transition into
any High School. And, if you look at any of the published
Honor Rolls at the major High Schools (e.g., North Central,
Brebeuf, Carmel), you will invariably see the names of many
Hebrew Academy graduates on those lists. People take this
for granted, but when you look at the size of the student bodies
of those schools versus the small number of HHAI graduates,
it hits home that HHAI kids are very well prepared to compete
academically.
(3) The majority of Academy kids come from families who are
not affiliated with any of the Indianapolis synagogues. We
belong to Shaarey Tefilla and our children fit in very well at
the Academy. They have gained an appreciation for tefillot
(prayers), chagim (holidays), dinim (laws), and chumash
(Torah) that neither Pierre nor I could give them on our own.
We have a deep satisfaction in knowing that our kids understand
the fundamentals of Judaism and will be able to walk
into any synagogue of any denomination anywhere in the
world and be able to participate fully.
(4) Yes, it’s true that the Atlas family is not very observant in
our daily life. Like many American Jews, we pick and choose
which aspects of Judaism that we will follow. The pressure
we anticipated from our kids trying to “convert” us to Orthodox
Judaism has just not materialized at home. It turns out
that our children (among many others educated at HHAI) are
very flexible and have easily accepted that their home life does
not incorporate many aspects of Jewish life that they are learning
at school.
Let’s face it, with the rising intermarriage rate in North America
we cannot take for granted that our children and grandchildren
will automatically seek to continue to be Jewish. We feel that
the Atlas children are gaining a foundational Jewish education that
they will keep with them for all of their lives. Most importantly, we
feel that our kids are more likely to marry someone Jewish and to
remain committed to Judaism not because their parents have said so
but because their HHAI Jewish education has planted the necessary
seeds of continuity inside them. And who can argue with that? |

Seventh Grade Hebrew News |
The seventh grade students are reading a historical fiction novel in
Hebrew called, The Escape. The students are learning about the
hardships of a particular Jewish family living in Syria in the early
1950's. One of the main characters is nicknamed Adon Pantalon, Mr.
Pants, because of the funny wide pants that he wears. Not only are the
students reading the story in Hebrew, they are also gaining
exposure to a few Arabic words. Pantalon means pants in Arabic,
tarbush is the round hat that they wear and shochad means bribery.
Mr. Saadia surprised the students by posing as Adon Pantalon! |

Shlichim Attend Conference, Meet Israeli Ambassador |

Hasten Hebrew Academy teachers, Hagai Moalem (4th
grade), Shavit Hakimi (grades 5-8) and Dror Saadia
(Middle School) attended a conference in Washington,
D.C. December 14-16. The conference for Shlichim
(teachers who come from Israel specifically to teach) provided
an opportunity for the teachers to meet other
Shlichim who are working in North America. Our own
Shaliach, Dror Saadia, was one of the planners of the conference
where they were able to share ideas, learn from
each other and provide tools for the future. As part of the
conference, the teachers visited a variety of Jewish Day
Schools in the Washington area and spent time at the Israeli
Embassy. They were addressed by the Israeli Ambassador
to the United States, Mr. Salai Meridor and by
the official spokesperson for the Embassy. They had an
opportunity to ask each of the dignitaries important questions
about Israel. Mr. Moalem commented that they are
often asked questions by people here in Indianapolis about
Israel. Some of the questions
are difficult to answer.
The dignitaries were
able to answer some of
these questions and also
provided strategies for being
an advocate for Israel.
The conference was a
wonderful professional
development opportunity. |

Please Slow Down on Hoover Road |
A neighborhood resident has brought to our attention
that traffic on Hoover Road is not following the 25 mph
speed limit (30 mph after 4:30). She felt it was important
to contact us as well as the JCC, BJE and synagogues
so that we could remind our families to please
abide by these limits. We must do our part to follow
these posted speed limits for the safety of our families as
well as the safety of neighborhood residents. The person
who contacted us will also be checking with the police
department to see that these limits are enforced. Let’s
do our part! |

PICTURING AMERICA |
Our school has been chosen as a recipient of the Picturing
America program from the National Endowment for the Humanities
(NEH). Picturing America is a free initiative that
helps teach American history and culture by bringing some of
the country's great art directly to classrooms and libraries.
HHAI Library received 40 large, high-quality reproductions
of great American art and a comprehensive teachers' resource
book to facilitate the use of the works of art in core subjects.
Picturing America's resources are designed to allow each
work of art to enhance the study of American history, social
studies, language arts and literature.
Because "democracy demands wisdom" these images will
promote excellence in the humanities and convey the lessons
of history to our students. Please come and see these new
additions to our school's resources. |

Art News |
Congratulations to faculty members Mrs. MaryEllen Fellegy, Mrs. Sarit Linkon and Mrs. Maya Shmoel on a successful exhibit on September 11 at the JCC called Pieces of Glass, the Students of Suzy Friedman Show Their Work. The art of mosaic involves adhering many small pieces of glass, marble, stones or other found objects to a surface to create an elaborate and detailed decorative design. There is a creative process involved with both design and application of the glass. Whether the glass is put together like a puzzle or applied as if it were paint, the goal is to produce a fine art piece rather than craft. After the glass is scored, cut and glued to the board, a colored grout is rubbed in to fill all the gaps. Excess grout is wiped away and extra glue removed to reveal a finished mosaic design. Please come see all of the mosaic artwork on a table in the lobby! |

Classroom News |
Middle School General Studies
By Mr. Matt Tucker, Ms. Lonica Solomon and Ms. Liz Williams
The halls are alive with the bustle of returning Middle School students and our new sixth grade group. Students have been excited to meet their new teachers and advisors. I asked Mrs. Ekhaus if we could provide an update as to how the teachers and students are doing. I am excited to work together with Ms. Solomon and Mrs. Williams. They are dedicated and bring new fresh experiences to their teaching.
Advisories have formed, and students are preparing for the Middle School retreat to McCormick's Creek State Park. The retreat will begin early in the morning on September 3rd and students will return to HHAI on September 4th in the afternoon. The purpose of the trip is for students and staff to strengthen their relationships and trust with each other. Activities will include horseback riding, hiking through caves, a campfire, relay races, art projects and more!!
Mr. Tucker: In the math room- The Olympic Games have been a resource for math students to problem solve. It has been nice to have numbers in the news with tenths and hundredths to examine as students work with decimals. Students have been excited each day to review the latest scores, culminating in a discussion of how the official Olympic scoring places countries in their respective order. Did you know that a country with one gold medal places higher than a country with 300 silvers and no gold?! My 5th and 6th graders felt that this system did not seem fair. We devised our own system: gold=7 points, silver=6, bronze=5. Students were quick to devise a system that put the United States significantly above China. Hey, what can we say? We're American.
Ms. Solomon: In the science room- This has been a fun couple of weeks for me getting know the students, staff, and families here at the Hasten Hebrew Academy. I have also really enjoyed working with the science curriculum used in the state of Indiana. I came to the Hasten Hebrew Academy after teaching at a Bronx high school for the last three years. I studied neuroscience in college, and cannot wait to explore some of my favorite brain-related topics with the students during the appropriate units. So far, the middle-schoolers have blown me away with their insightful questions and comments. Everyday has been groundbreaking for them as they learn about what makes up the stuff of the universe and how to problem solve like a scientist. The 7th graders had a great time donning aprons, goggles, and gloves last week as they tried to decipher the ingredients of their own "mystery mixes." The 6th graders drew (and smelled) the skin of an onion through a microscope, surprising us with their aptitude for interpreting what they saw. I look forward to many more adventures in the lab!
Mrs. Williams: In the Language Arts room- What an exciting group this is! I, too, have been getting to know everyone here. In my classes, we have shared a bit about themselves with an "I Am" poetry project. Not only did we learn a tremendous amount about each student (which will be put to good use during homework and writing assignments), but the students learned a great deal about their new English teacher too! We are continuing our critical reading skills, working on word origins through vocabulary, and doing lots of writing, writing, and more writing. We are closely aligned with state standards, so everything has a purpose and a skill to accomplish. The students are also excited about our independent reading journals. This is a chance to have a continuing reader response to books of their choosing through a reader response letter format. In other words, they read, they write me letters about it, and I responds in a letter back! This is a place where we are allowed to speak our opinions and have our views, but must use because… to back it up. We are looking forward to a great year!

It was great to see everyone at the PTO Back-to-School Coffee on Wednesday. Thanks to Ellen Shevitz for organizing the event. Also, thank you to Gilbert Serrat, owner of Breadsmith, for donating the pastries. Please remember to patronize businesses that support HHAI. We are looking for volunteers to staff the Boutique. The PTO would like the Boutique to be open one hour at drop-off and one hour at pick-up. Please let Aviva Tavel or me know if you are able to help.
Did you know that when you use a Target Red Card for your purchases at Target, Target donates a percentage to HHAI? After you apply and are accepted, be sure to designate HHAI on-line as your “Take Charge of Education” School. To date, Target has donated close to $4000 to HHAI.

The Hasten Hebrew Academy Is Gone Peanut Free |
Your children may have come home talking about Sun Butter sandwiches. There really is such a thing. As in the general population, our school has children who are allergic to peanuts and tree nuts. These are not mild allergies. Even the slightest exposure such as being touched by someone who ate peanuts, can be life threatening. Our school has made the decision to eliminate foods that contain even traces of peanuts or tree nuts. We are work hard to find lunch foods and snacks that are kosher and peanut free. If your child will be celebrating a birthday in school and you want to send snacks please choose from the list below. Keep in mind that Tuesdays and Thursdays are meat days so snacks distributed in the afternoon must be parve. All snacks must be approved by administration before they are distributed. Attached to this newsletter is a list of kosher symbols that are acceptable to our school. Please double check to see that the snack you bring has one of them.
Thank you all for your cooperation. |
