The Hasten Hebrew Academy is offering the H1N1 vaccine for children in grades kindergarten through 8. The vaccine will be administered on Thursday morning, December 17. There is no charge for this vaccine. Each child has been given a packet of information including a permission form. These permission forms must be returned to the school by Tuesday morning, December 15. Important forms, including the permission slip are also attached to this e-mail. . Children 9 years old and younger will need a second dose 3 to 4 weeks after the first. For the second dose as well as our Early Childhood students, the vaccine should be readily available at Health Care providers after December 20th according to our Marion County Health Department contact.
